The GT-5000 grip tape is perfect for the grips and slides of my handguns that don't have either a very aggressive grip texture or any forward slide serrations--or both. Prior to using this product I was using black skateboard tape that, although that particular product did produce the desired affect, was also responsible for tearing-up many of my dress shirts. Problem solved: no more ruined shirts!

It is easy to cut to the desired portion and length, and super simple to apply. You can spend a lot of money with custom stippling, but if you're on a budget or simply prefer function over form, these just might be the best option going.

I have this on a few things, but the phone case is used many times daily for over 2 years. The adhesive has held up perfectly. This has made the slippery case easy to handle and has probably saved many drops. The rubbery, tacky feel it had when new has noticeably diminished due to the natural oils from my skin over time. But the texture is still good, and the slightly soft touch has continued to provide the perfect amount of grip without being too grabby to get in and out of a pocket easily. I am very satisfied. I am applying more of it today to my new case. Note that I did round the corners when cutting to help keep it from lifting up there, so if you have any trouble with corners, try that.
